Tips for searching Google

Here's how to use certain features of Google when you do not know exactly how to find what we need, or you are looking for inspiration on synonyms to refine your search, or you find something that interests us and we want to know if there is still material of the same type.
1. * Operator (as is the "crazy" in card games)
Google replaces the one or more words that would normally occur in the sentence. So for example if you search for "contract * well done," Google will respond with results as "contract well done", "partnership contract well done", etc. ..
Possible uses
Among the more obvious come to mind the cases in which:
- remember the meaning of the sentence sought but not the exact words;
- you want to study various combinations of words to form sentences with one or more words based (useful for searches on keywords, or to learn languages).
2. Operator synonyms search ~
The operator ~ Google allows you to expand your search to related terms or synonyms.
Possible uses
It can be very useful when the term used for research has very different meanings, or wish to exclude from the results while finding its synonyms (eg. [~ Bid-offer] is "best prices for fuels").
3. Search operator of URLs Related:
The operator Related: Find pages similar to the one provided. It basa cradle co-citation: look for pages with similar sets of backlinks to those of the page given over to thematic relevance. Looking for es. related: google.it are Yahoo.com, Msn.com, Virgilio.it.
Possible uses
It can be used when searching for content generally similar to those that you specify.
