The first orders will start shipping by the 19th of October, it announced officially Amazon . The Kindle comes with free 3G wireless internet connection (the same used by cell phones and smartphones), which lets you download books, magazines, newspapers as well as personal documents on-screen e-ink 6-inch high-definition, - sure Amazon - can be read very similar to that of paper. Elonex, an English company specializing in low cost devices, presents a new eBook reader with e-Ink screen from 6 inches.

The device has a thickness of 9 mm and a weight of 180 grams, has an internal memory of 4 GB and supports additional 4GB card, allowing you to store thousands of books in PDF format and images in various formats.

The e-Ink screens, like the Sony PRS505 , consume energy only when the page is turned, so the internal battery has a range of 8000 pages, equivalent to about 3 months of reading.

It will be sold in England by the bookstore chain Borders at 189 pounds, about 220 euros, with 100 eBooks for free, an attractive price given the competition. The package includes charger and data cable.

Perhaps not everyone knows that Google Books allows you to search the contents of large quantities of books. Google has in fact granted, after the suit brought by the association three years ago the authors of the U.S., with over 20,000 publishers and authors to make their books available. Of these books, you can browse through a few pages preview, just like in a library or a library. There are also links to libraries and bookstores where you can borrow or buy the book. The reference to the page will make it easier to find the content sought.
