Disconnect a USB device when Windows will not allow it
Written by Alex April 10, 2012 - 8:57 amOne of the most annoying things that happen when you're in a hurry and you have to unplug a USB device is to receive the operating system message that says the device can not be disconnected, and attempting, and of course this happens more frequently as you in a hurry.
The temptation to remove the device and go is very strong, but can lead to serious damage to the device's file system, so you need an alternative.
One possibility is Unlocker , an excellent free program to Cedric 'Nitch' Collomb that solves the problem mainly to indicate which application is holding open a file and be able to delete it anyway but it also fixes other locking situations.
If you receive this message and then attempt to safely disconnect a USB device:

Spooler SubSystem App Error - Windows XP
Written by Alex October 11, 2011 - 10:12 pm
If you get an error message:
There was a problem that required the closing Spooler SubSystem App
try the following solution:
Start-> Control Panel-> Administrative Tools-> Services - search for the service "Print Spooler", right click on it and click stop if it is not already stopped, possibly click on restart
Delete all files in the folder:
C: \ WINDOWS \ SYSTEM32 \ SPOOL \ PRINTERS
return to service "Print Spooler" and clicking the right mouse button starts
Open the Printers and Faxes folder to check that the error no longer appears.
Make a test print from each of the installed printers.
If you still experience some error, delete the printer that generates the error and repeat the procedure from first point.
If this does not solve the problem, try to Printers and Faxes - click the right mouse button on the printer - Advanced, to remove the flag from "Print spooled documents first".

Rehabilitating the changes to the registry
Written by Alex May 4, 2009 - 8:54 am
By inserting a key DisableRegistryTools DWORD in HKEY_CURRENT_USER registry section and assigning the value 1, it disables changes to the registry with Regedit, and this is sometimes a choice of the administrator to prevent users from messing around, but sometimes it is the work of virus. If you get the message "The registry changes have been disabled by the Administrator", this is still an explanation.
In this case a double-click a file. Reg (the technique usually used to import one or more keys in the registry) has no effect.
One solution is to run the batch file:

Here is a solution to prevent the formatting:

- Press the number corresponding to your installation of Operating System, usually 1 and press ENTER;
- enter the administrator password (if set) and press ENTER;
- execute the following commands, substituting the letter X assigned to the CD-ROM drive where you inserted the CD of the OS (the first command is optional, a scruple):
