The Museo del Prado on Google Earth
Written by Alex February 9, 2009 - 9:44 amA Different View € ™ s art
Admiring a Velasquez or a Rembrandt in a place like the Prado Museum is a unique experience € ™. Now, thanks to Google Earth, you can go further: you can navigate through the reproductions of the masterpieces of the Prado observing the smallest details, like the touch of the brush strokes and cracks in the paint. The images of these works have a definition of about 14,000 million pixels, or about 1,400 times higher than that of a 10 megapixel camera. In addition to Google Earth you can see a spectacular 3D reproduction of the museum.

Live € ™ s art in a new and different way: see here and here for links.
