The keys Home, End, Page Up and Page Down do not work in Firefox
Written by Alex July 20, 2011 - 12:22 pmIf the keys Home, End, Page Up and Page Down do not work in Firefox is likely to be activated mode "navigation in the text." In fact you will notice a cursor at the point where you click your mouse on textual content.
This allows you to copy portions of text with the cursor keys (eg taking. Down the Shift key) or the mouse, but disable the keys Home, End, Page Up and Page Down.
To enable or disable this function, you press the F7 key, as you can confirm at this screen:

If you disable the warning, then there remains only the possibility of remembering that the F7 key is!

Windows 7 64bit will not restart after hibernation or suspension
Written by Alex May 7, 2011 - 7:20 am
If after installing Windows 7 64bit on a motherboard ASUS P8P67 you can not wake up the system after a suspend or hibernation, enter the BIOS setup and disable the PLL Internal Overvoltage.
This is useful for overclocking pushed (over 47x in Turbo Ratio) but has the side effect of not allowing the restart after the entry into S3 state of suspension.

Iconify windows and more with the keyboard in Windows
Written by Alex April 15, 2011 - 9:14 pm
The keyboard is always faster than the mouse, but in some cases it is difficult to remember some key combinations little used, for example those which are used to maximize and minimize a window.
To minimize all open windows you can use the combination ALT + M and to show the desktop is a combination Windows Key + D. This is a switch and can be repeated.
To minimize the active window, press alt + space and then the I (r leaders in icon).
To maximize the active window by pressing alt + space key and then the N (i N grandisci ).
To close the active window by pressing alt + space and then the C key (C ose), but the standard combination Alt + F4 is quicker.
To lock the PC and to request the password you use Windows + L, wanting to create a desktop shortcut for this purpose, you create a link with the name you want and as you enter the following command string:
% Windir% \ system32 \ rundll32.exe user32.dll, LockWorkStation
Another thing not widely known is that you can invoke the context menu (the one that appears by pressing the right mouse button) simply by pressing Shift-F10 after selecting an object.

Outlook and the command line
Written by Alex March 30, 2011 - 8:10 am
Outlook / switch
Occasionally, we need to use the full path to Outlook, or the command must have the form:
"C: \ Program Files \ Microsoft Office \ Office11 \ Outlook.exe" / switch
Notes:
Before using a command line, you must close Outlook and make sure it is closed in Task Manager.
Paths that include spaces must be enclosed in quotes and may require careful case-sensitive. You need the full paths to create desktop shortcuts.
Switch
/ A
Create an object with the specified file as an attachment.
Use:
Outlook / a "C: \ Documents \ etichette.doc"
If you do not specify an object type, default is IPM.Note. This switch can not be used with message classes that are not based on Outlook.
Opens the VBA program specified in otmfilename, rather than% appdata% \ Microsoft \ Outlook \ VbaProject.OTM. Use this switch to run macros that are not in the default file VBAProject.
/ Autorun macroname
Launch Outlook and immediately runs the macro specified in macroname.
