How to manage the credentials of a Windows share

Sometimes it would be nice to speed up the operation or even to enter only the username and password is default.
For Windows Server 2008, Windows Vista and Windows 7 you can use the system utilities:
cmdkey
that allows you to maintain multiple combinations of usernames and passwords to shared resources on the network, keeping them encrypted in the Windows Registry. more »

Disconnect a USB device when Windows will not allow it
Written by Alex April 10, 2012 - 8:57 amOne of the most annoying things that happen when you're in a hurry and you have to unplug a USB device is to receive the operating system message that says the device can not be disconnected, and attempting, and of course this happens more frequently as you in a hurry.
The temptation to remove the device and go is very strong, but can lead to serious damage to the device's file system, so you need an alternative.
One possibility is Unlocker , an excellent free program to Cedric 'Nitch' Collomb that solves the problem mainly to indicate which application is holding open a file and be able to delete it anyway but it also fixes other locking situations.

Transfer mail from Outlook Express to Windows Live Mail

Recover damaged files of OpenOffice

If using OpenOffice is a problem accessing a file Base, Calc, Draw, Impress, Math and Writer, and appear a message like:
Format error in file styles.xml
The file 'file.odt' is corrupted ...
The file 'file.odt' can not be repaired and can not be opened.
Generic error.
Error input / output generic
try to do the following to retrieve the data files of OpenOffice, making sure before you have a backup:
1) Upgrade to the latest version of OpenOffice.org and try opening the file.
2) Insert the corrupted file: Open a blank document of the desired type in OpenOffice. Select the menu 'Insert -> Files "and place the damaged file. (For spreadsheets instead use "Insert -> From File.")
3) Look for a backup. If you have activated the option "Always create backup" in the settings of OpenOffice, OpenOffice.org keeps backup of your files here:
C: \ Documents and Settings \ USERNAME \ Application Data \ OpenOffice.org \ user \ backup

Disk Manager will not start: what to do?

Suddenly you are not able to enter Computer Management, Storage, Disk Management, you access the operating system with an administrator account, running compmgmt.msc, and when you click on Disk Management window appears with the error:
Error 1068: the dependency service or group failed.
Insisting then you get the error:
Could not start the logical disk management service on local computer
Error 126: Can not find the specified module
This was in reference to two services that you should check in Computer Management, Services, that are both started in automatic mode:
- Logical Disk Manager (Logical Disk Manager)
Manages logical disks and removable.
It depends on Plug and Play, Remote Procedure Call
